About Me
My name is Ellina Bokov. I studied at Antioch University and received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2017. I provided support to foster parents and children. I worked with parents on reunification with their biological parents as well as working with parents in the process of adoption. I helped parents manage their own feelings as well as working on the relationship between them and their children. I also had a wonderful opportunity to lead parenting groups for single mothers. Shortly after, I opened my private practice where I had the pleasure to work with some awesome couples and individuals. I decided to postpone the rest of my practice when my husband and I had our first born. I gave the first few years to my now two children. After become a parent myself, I gained a new perspective and understanding on the joys and hardships of parenting. I have been in a committed relationship for 15 years now where we also experienced a few bumps on the road and the pleasure of overcoming them. I don’t only have the theoretical knowledge but the personal experience of hardships and successes related to marriage, parenting, and my own family of origin. I am happily reopening my practice to continue the work that I am so passionate about. I am honored to work with my clients and it warms my heart to be a small part of your journey to fulfillment, love, excitement, understanding, or any other goals that you are seeking to achieve in your life.
